Ronaldo Land

He started filming skateboarding in the streets of Rio de Janeiro in 2002. As time went by, he felt the need to improve his technical knowledge and went to study Cinema at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. In October 2014 he did his first Curatorial and Exhibition “Urban Contrasts” at the Arte Core Event that took place at the Museum of Modern Art in RJ. In January 2015 He did his first solo exhibition “The Colors Of Rio” at Homegrown Gallery. With “Urban Contrasts” he was nominated for the Golden Iris by the World Photography Organisation and was invited to exhibit this work at the Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Sumerset Houde in London. He is currently the character in a documentary about his work for the OFF Channel, has been working as a Video Clips Director, and is the resident Artist at the Homegrown Gallery in Ipanema.
