Karen Marin is a beauty industry executive accomplished in global marketing, merchandising and strategic planning with a proven ability to identify innovative brand building opportunities in omnichannel environments. Karen held management positions in specialty retail before becoming the Fragrance Buyer at Sephora US for 8 years. She then relocated to Paris with LVMH as Business Development Manager at Parfums Givenchy, overseeing the Americas.
She is a relationship builder with a vast international network in the fragrance, beauty and retail industries. In 2018 she left the corporate world to work on the startup project Essencional, a website targeted to the niche fragrance and beauty community where she is a director on the Editorial Board. Karen also authored and taught a 15-week class on Cosmetics & Fragrance Merchandising for the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She has moderated panel discussion at Esxence, the international tradeshow dedicated to niche fragrance, since 2016.
